Download macOS Sierra. Follow the steps below to download macOS Sierra onto your Mac. Open the Mac App Store on your Mac. Search for macOS Sierra in the search box located at the top right corner of your screen (See image below). Next, click on macOS Sierra. Install the macOS installer
Double-click the downloaded file to open a window showing its contents. Then double-click the file within, named InstallOS.pkg.

Begin installation
